Ingredients
First prepare the basis for the yeast: use a little cup and pour sugar, water and powdered yeast in it and mix thoroughly. Wait for the foamy rise, and then pour a handful of flour. In a large bowl, combine remaining flour and salt. Add the risen yeast and pour lukewarm water and start mixing the ingredients. Initially, you should only use your fingertips for kneading, and then gradually use the rest of your hands and knead until the dough no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl. Cover the dough with a cloth and let rise for 2 hours. Move it again and then shape the loaf or buns, and then again let it rise covered for two hours. Warm the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the bread for about an hour. Remove the baked bread from the oven and sprinkle with cold water and put back in the oven for a few minutes. This way, the baked crust will have a distinctive glow.
